Chandigarh to Jam Nallah
Come to Chandigarh sector 17 bus stop early in the morning to catch a bus to Nauradhar. This is the base village. The trail starts with mud and finally enters a forest. You have to trek for 7 – 8 km on the initial day and reach Jam Nallah. This is where you can set up your first camp. It is recommended to come back early after dinner as the next day will involve a lot of walking. Also, getting enough rest is essential.
Jam Nallah to Churdhar Peak and Back Again to Chandigarh
This day starts a little early, when you start walking towards the Churdhar peak which is at a distance of about 4.5 km. In 2 hours you will reach the peak. Have breakfast at the peak and enjoy the views. Around 10 am you should move back to Nauradhar. Around 5 pm you are expected to reach Nauradhar. From here you can take a bus or taxi to Chandigarh
